GNU Free Documentation License What is a "competent actor" in regards to Sociology & being a part of a subculture? Q. I'm currently working on a paper for my Soc 200 class and we have to choose a song that represents us (our "anthem"). We must relate it to the subculture it groups us into and answers some questions. Two I'm having trouble with are: "In what way does the song help make you a competent actor in your subculture? How do competent actors in your subculture contribute to the broader society?" (Prior to this the music was known as positive punk, an offshoot of post punk) And so the music genre of goth rock was so named... and a goth is just an avid fan/musician of goth rock that… [cont.] Answered by webferret74 - Mon Oct 27 22:59:32 2008 Is there a formal Organization for the Rocky Horror Picture Show subculture?
