where can i find replacement hardware for a 20 year old jacuzzi tub?
Q. i'm not even certain if its jacuzzi. there aren't any markings to identify it. tub works great but all exterior hardware is corroded. The faucet is delta, i assume all hardware is as well since it all appears to be original. the hardware is brass i want to change to stainless. any help is greatly appreciated!

A. I assume this is a jetted bath tub rather than a hot tub? What you are going to find is primarily plastic jets. They can have chrome, brass, stainless faceplates, however. That might be all you need to purchase. Try a local plumbing supply store. Betcha they can fix you up.

What hardware and software can do this job with only one pc and 20-30 wy-fi headsets?
Q. The job is to be able to let 20-30 students access any of 30 voice lessons stored on the pc in one room. The students must be able to choose any lesson at any time regardless of which lesson the other students are listening to. The system must be wireless. Each lesson is approximately 30 minutes and the students will be within 25 meters of the pc and/or transmitting hardware. Non student selection of lesson(s) for an individual headset would be acceptable but student selection from the headset would be preferable.

A. With current wifi standards this is impossible for many reasons. Heres your hurdles. Bandwidth, wifi bandwidth is fast even for audio but for 30 plus students accessing possible 30 different audio streams would take a wired network with gigabit ethernet unless you cheap out on the audio quality of the files your using and without a interface there is no way to make selection. In big scenarios like this companies sometimes install a single copy of a server version of windows and set all of the attached machines to server boot so that each can access the same data and you can save money by buying computers with no optical/disk drives.

What color cabinet hardware would look good with these cabinet colors?
Q. We are painting our upper kitchen cabinets a cream color and our lower cabinets black. All of our hardware on doors and drawers are 3" pulls. We got a great deal on flat black hinges, so we bought enough for the whole kitchen. With the hinges unifying the cabinets, could we get away with using cream colored pulls on the black cabinets and black pulls on the cream colored cabinets? If you think we should use the same color hardware on both sets of cabinets, what color could we use that goes with cream and black paint and black hinges? Thanks for your help! I should have said too that we are going for a traditional look rather than a contemporary one. How would aged bronze pulls look with these colors?

A. The hinges and the pulls should match, otherwise you get a very choppy look, like you ran out of one and had to buy the other. Use black pulls. If you can, when you paint the cabinets try an aging technique that will allow the low points of the cabinet, moldings etc to have darker glaze so you haven't got a huge high contrast switch from the top to the bottom cabinets. High contrast is a sign of contemporary design so using a wipe off black glaze on the upper cabinets will allow you to have the traditional look you want.
